  • Dedication of Build VI, located at Huntington Street in New Haven, took place the afternoon of Sunday, July 18, 2010. Family, friends and volunteers who have complete this sixth Madison Cares home celebrated Lavenita and Fred Smith’s new home.

The Smiths are longtime employees of Yale-New Haven Hospital. Fred is employed in Patient Transport and Lavenita is a unit secretary in an intensive care unit. Although their work schedules can fluctuate, they have put in many hours on their new home.
